Wherever I may be, my blog turns toward Eretz Yisrael
Is the phrasing leminyan ha‘areilim meant to be funny because it's a brit?

great idea!
two points for originality and 5 for crazyness.
steg: yes.prag: is that on a scale of 1 to 5?
That is just retarded, lol!

cute kid, but is it right to make a kid cry JUST to use on an invitation? wonder how many "takes" it took to get him to say exactly what was needed?J.
Can you translate it please? Thanks.
"Mommy! Mommy! They're gonna cut me!""With G-d's help, this coming Tuesday on Lag Ba'Omer""16.5.2006 -- according to the date of the uncircumsized.""In the "Rimonim" hall in Rechovot at 2:30 PM.""Come to give me moral support, so it won't hurt too much.""Many thanks, "No-Name Sar-Avi [family name]"
Jcop :Dthis is a brilliant invitation (what about those bli internet?)love the idea
So I'm guessing no one from Monsey or Lakewood will show up.
How original! I've never seen an invitation like that before, how cute!Have to say it again- How cute!!
invitation to a Brit?????????we don't do that not in amshinov or even lita
Amshinover has a good point that i forgot... i thought it's customary not to explicitly invite people to a brit, because they'd be halakhicly obligated to attend; so you just "inform" them of when it'll be instead.
This site is one of the best I have ever seen, wish I had one like this.»
