JoeSettler has 3 hours to remove his illegal "outpost" or face forcible eviction from my blog.

Last night, JoeSettler illegally erected an embedded "mondial" outposting on The Muqata (see below). Be advised, he has till 13:00 Israel time to remove it, or he will be forcibly evicted from this blog, his outpost destroyed, and it's going to get very messy.

The High Court of the JBlogosphere has ruled 8-1 that he will not get any reparations, no alternative place to host his outpost, and no link benefits whatsoever. What was he thinking when he illegally set it up?

And it's totally irrelevant that I invited him to guest post a while back, or that I set up the first posts for him.

This blog will not be held hostage to a radical, messianic minority.

He has till 13:00.

UPDATE: Its gone. whew.

Wherever I am, my blog turns towards Eretz Yisrael

  2. Who says he didn't. But we just can't get the word out because we don't have the media control.

  5. Very strange...

In England if someone stays too long in someones house when they're away they are called squatters and have some legal backing to be there.

Does the same thing hold true for blogs????

  6. kasamba: 'Squatting'? Let's try explicit permission to put up "illegal (out)posts" whenever I wanted.

Try that one on for size.

One day, everything is good and ok, we are expanding our operation without taking anything away from anybody else in the Jblog(o)sphere, and then the next day 'boom', someone (without saying names) gets up on the wrong side of the bed and changes the accepted (and even might I say desired) policy because it became politically inconvenient (or they just don't like the Mondial).

Jerusalemcop is leading the protests. We're going to be burning tires in the streets. Jameel hasn't heard the end of this.

  8. Scraps: For once we in Israel have the time advantage over US bloggers.

    Don't worry - it wasn't that exciting :)

Joe: I certainly hope you won't come back tomorrow with the same trick in the time-honed tradition of our best and brightest...

  9. Here, if someone stays too long in my house, they're called relatives.

  10. Maybe the problem was that it was titled "JoeSettler Illegal (Out)Post". Try titling it "JoeSettler Legal (Out)Post" next time. :-P

  11. steg: It won't make a difference. Im Israel if you have the name settler in front of you (or in my case the end) then any legal tranfer of ownership or rights is automatically questioned and then disregarded. Jameel has become part of the problem.
