Yes, it's beautiful. But here in New York, where some people (but definitely not all) are rolling in dough, that house would not even be considered something special.
Nice but not my style.. they modernized it too much.. the kitchen looks like my mothers china closet.. who the heck has glass cabinets in their kitchen?
White is overdone, the celling lights are overdone..
It just looks like white + black wood..
Nice house but typical israel anglo saxon interior design.
Low hanging celling lamps, a change of color, carpet etc.. would be sweet.
'If you're going to move to Eretz Yisrael, move here in style.' ??????????????/ find that inappropriate and offensive. yes i saw the small letters 'advertisement', so what - why dont you just advertise houses in teaneck - isnt that the converse- if you cant move to israel in style stay in teaneck ?
Yes, but what sort of batei knesset or batei midrash are there in Ein Karem?
ReplyDeletewhere's jameel?
ReplyDeletewhat do you think about rav kanievsky's ban on using arab workers?
when is yesha going to follow suit, and stop having people who want to kill us (really...) build our houses and fix our plumbing?

ReplyDeletemordechai: There's a Chabbad shul, kosher restaurants (even a mehadrin one) and cafe there.
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning house.
ReplyDeletemordechai,
ReplyDeletethere are shuls in bet ha-kerem. how far away is it from ein karem?
loz: Bet ha-kerem is a different area completely.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous: I'm back -- just posted.
ReplyDeleteSomeone just commented to me this morning, "Why is yemach-shemam building our beit knesset?"
Must be nice to be rich...
ReplyDeleteam: I'll let you know when I find out.

I like the kitchen, but there is wayyy too much white in there. More color. Some carpet. More of an old Yerushalmi vibe, you know?
ReplyDeleteOf course, if someone offered it to me, I would take it as is, if only not to hurt anyone's feelings...
What, no swimming pool?

how about 'you can live in israel without giving up style' ?
ReplyDeleteBalabusta in blue jeans,
ReplyDeleteSpot on.. the living room needs a shade of dark green perhaps.. upstairs rooms light blue.. bathroom needs a yellow?
Anything is better than all white!
I like the low hanging silver "cones" lights for kitchen.. anything but the lights in the celling!!
I bet if you could afford to buy this house, you can afford to buy a bucket or two of paint too.
ReplyDelete:)
thanks for changing it!
ReplyDeleteNice house, but not enough bedrooms!
