My daughter couldn't care less about my blog this morning and what I had to say about the JBlopgger conference last night -- all she wanted to see was how Bat-El was doing in the Taekwondo competition.
Unfortuantely, she was elimiated from the finals and lost to Martina ZUBCIC from Croatia. (video in Hebrew, here)
Next time, she'll come home with the gold.
Wherever I am, my blog turns towards Eretz Yisrael טובה הארץ מאד מאד
G-d willing she should keep her priorities straight, and stay healthy, too.
ReplyDeleteIs she a religous girl? How old is she?
ReplyDelete"Is she a religous girl?"
ReplyDeletehere we go again.
"How old is she?"
20. are you interested in a shiduch?
JAMEEL:
ReplyDeletei'm with your daughter. much more interested in gatterer than the bloggers conference (although of course i check in for your posts).
you should tell her to read my blog instead of yours (although i can't guarantee it's all age appropriate). once again i beat you to the scoop on gatterer by hours and with pictures . . . and this time without rafi's help.
click here for my update of her defeat with pictures
and just to clarify, she hasn't been eliminated from the olympics. she can still come home with a bronze.
i also have a link to a new video on ynet, but it won't let foreigners watch it.
ReplyDeletei tried following the link you give but i don't see a video of her?
Sheesh, Lion of Zion, I'm a girl, please.
ReplyDeleteI was just wondering because of Batya's comment!
What were you thinking?
M:
ReplyDelete"Sheesh, Lion of Zion, I'm a girl, please."
no objections to that
"I was just wondering because of Batya's comment!"
i'm not sure what batya meant either. but yes, she is religious. my "here we go again" was in reference to jameel's s post last week that engendered a vociferous debate on the nature of her frumkeit.
"What were you thinking?"
hey, you ask about age and religiosity and i automatically go into shidduch mode. incidentally, she does have brothers . . .

ReplyDeleteLoZ: We sleep at night here -- and dont blog 24 hours a day :-)
ReplyDeleteM: Ive blogged about her before. She's Israel's religious settler Olympian...
Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI guess when I get into Hollywood I won't be such a singularity.
JAMEEL:
ReplyDeleteexcuses :)
i can't seem to find the video you link to
