The next few days will offer Israel a very cool view of the International Space Station and the US Space Shuttle Endeavor -- viewable to the naked eye. (oops, that wasn't meant to get additional traffic)

Don't expect to see an arc or a trail - those photos were taken with a long shutter opening. It just looks like a bright star that moves across the whole sky in 2 or 3 minutes.
ReplyDeletethat was very cool - saw a fast moving star over Jerusalem - and with binoculars made out 2dots on top of each other - kinda the shape of the ISS
