Israel's police have opened an investigation into the alleged placing of "requests" on folded paper notes at the Yitzchak Rabin's Memorial in Rabin Square -- perhaps similar to the ones at Jerusalem's Wailing Wall.
The Tel-Aviv Crime Scene Investigation Unit is examining the note to determine exactly what was written on it.
As a result of the note incident, there is now heightened security around the Rabin Memorial.

News flash: tefilles ha geshem means prayers for RAIN - not prayers for Rabin.
ReplyDeleteShee, next thing you know they'll be saying that on the third day he got up and had a bagel!
I don't know what's more pitiful: the Rabin veneration, or the Peres self-veneration.
ReplyDeleteOnly in Israel can a note be seen as a security threat.
ReplyDeleteAm chacham ve'navon?
How do you know the guy in the picture isn't doing push ups, perhaps preparing to enter Tza'hal?
