Well, if we were looking for a picture of the Arabs' version of an election we'd... oh... well... they don't have elections, so I guess a blank sheet of paper?
I mean sure these are blatantly false, slanderous cartoons based on nothing but propaganda.
But one thing I can't stand is someone who will not fight for what they believe. All these cartoons show a people united and willing to do what it takes for their cause.
These cartoons indicates a hunger that this generation of Israelis can't understand. Their grandparents understood, perhaps even their parents, but no, today's generation of Israelis don't understand the hunger that can produce such defiant cartoons.
Yeah, at least they are united for what they believe. Too bad the Israelis aren't as united.
By the way, I don't even find these cartoons interesting. They are expected. It's like being shocked if a scorpion stings a fox while riding on its back across a river.
I don't get the Octopus - do you read Arabic?

ReplyDeleteI must admit I chuckled at the cartoon depicting Livni with a tank and Netanyahu with an even bigger tank.
ReplyDeleteThe rest are just unfunny.
