Tov Yerushalayim Seimeicha! One shall rejoice in Jerusalem's happiness and unity. After 19 centuries, when the Romans destroyed the city and the Temple and exiled the nation from its land, G-d returned the Jewish people to Jerusalem. To keep as Israel's capital is not something they owe to themselves; its what they owe to Heaven. And that must never be forgotten. For Jerusalem Day is not a holiday celebrating a military victory, it a day of thanks to G-d for returning the Jewish people to history. It is an act of sublime and transcendent faith. What has been validated were countless Jewish prayers and a long history of yearning and suffering.
FYI, IE7 does not heart your blog right now. told me it couldn't display the page.

And whose idea was it to give the whole Temple Mount over to the Muslims?
ReplyDeleteAnd since this has proved to be such a stinker of an idea, how do we go about reversing that decision?
