Hi Gazan Readers of the Muqata!
Today's number is Three Hundred. 300
It's a biiiiig number.
What does it mean? Its the distance in number of meters, that you must stay away from the security fence between Gaza and Israel.
Three Hundred Meters is also, Thirty thousand centimeters!
Doesn't that sound unfair? Maybe you should complain to the UN that you have to stay 30 thousand centimeters away from a border fence, and it prevents your flock of goats from grazing on sand...
IDF forces are requiring you to stay away from the border fence and you will face serious consequences (perhaps even death) if you approach the fence.
The IDF has dropped these fliers over Gaza to WARN you, to stay away!

ReplyDeletethere are 100cm in a meter.
I thought we jews were good for math and science.
anonymous - thats what I get for writing a post in under 30 seconds.
ReplyDeletemaybe I need math class as well :)
it still is wrong, you left another reference to the 3000. "to stay 3 thousand centimeters away"
ReplyDeleteI guess thats what you get for correcting a post in under 30 seconds.
anonymous: been a busy day...
ReplyDeleteIf we could just make it 3,000,000,000 cm then they will need to learn to swim too (besides maths !)
ReplyDeleteI thought math classes in Gaza were about proper explosive ratios in bombs.
ReplyDeleteThat and counting civilian deaths.
Dear Muqata, you're great! Thanks to you every day I pass news to my friends that I cannot find anywhere else!
