A mereorite of that size, with its hypervelocity and large momentum, would produce a visible impact crater.

Did someone throw some burning plastic or chemicals onto the beach?
I'm sure we'll hear more in the next day or so.
But the reason I posted it is because of the comments of the people standing around it.
On IDF Radio's 9 AM news this morning, they stated that the object was still burning, 24 hours after being "discovered" on the beach.
its probably napalm then !
Oh well, not a meteor. But still funny to listen to the video.
