Which is more effective, the Amuka's Underwear Tree or JDate?
Billboard reads: You came all the way here to find a husband? JDate is easier...

how dare you question the segula of Amuka. Heathen!!
ReplyDeleteAmuka helped a member of my family find her beshert. She ended up getting divorced. So no, I do not recommend Amuka.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand she has been happily remarried for getting on 20 years, but the 2nd beshert was not found via JDate or Amuka. Just a good old-fashioned shidduch via an aunt. :-)
That is beyond hilarious and a very clever marketing job!
ReplyDeleteis this sign found near Amukah? (just want to be clear)
ReplyDeleteHSM: To be clear:
ReplyDelete1. This may be photoshopped.
2. Its definitely not the Amuka...Ive been to the amuka and this isn't it. (my link above to the underwear tree has pics of the real Amuka)
Anyone know which kever this is? I didnt go through my kever pics to figure out which one it is...
I think the underwear tree must be more effective. It caters to the truly insane.
ReplyDeleteWhereas Jdate only appeals to those with low self-esteem.
Jameel, look at your kever pics. It won't take you long. That's Kever Rashb"y, only the second most visited site in all of Israel!
ReplyDeletefwiw: have to note that the billboard is aimed at those seeking a husband, rather than more broadly at those seeking a shidduch.
