A New Day

Egyptian President Suleiman announced today Mubarak has resigned.

The army has announced they will ensure a civilian government is in place until the elections, and that there will be elections, and that Egypt will abide by its peace treaties.

I wonder. If Mubarak moved to Israel and run for government, how big would his party be?

  1. Looks like Mubarak bought time to minimize the potential influence of Moslem Brotherhood. Cooler heads may prevail by the time elections come around and others will have a chance to organize. Meanwhile the army is in charge.
