ReplyDeletethere were 16 rockets fired into Israel before, not to mention the one that hit that bus - why didn't Iron Dome stop those?
ReplyDeleteAnon, it only shoots it down if it's shot at a residential area, doesn't want to waste missiles, also can't shoot down if it's very close to Gaza.
ReplyDeleteApparently the rockets must reach a certain height in order for shooting them down to be effective or possible.
ReplyDeleteIts not a substitute for aggressive military measures against Hamas. There IS a military solution to terrorism but Israel's elite refuses to admit it can be effective - see Operation Shield Of David.
ReplyDeleteDo we have an official reason for not shooting them down? Was iron dome only close to Ashkelon? Can it predict if the missile will hit residential areas to save the cost of the rocket? Do they have plans to make cheaper rockets so they don't cost more than the rockets being fired into Israel?
