Roll over Menachem Begin

A mosque built (illegally?) on the Mount of Olives is currently being illegally expanded, to just a few meters away from the grave of Prime Minister Menachem Begin.

Work done by the Jerusalem Municipality to pave the path near the grave was ripped up and nearby trees were uprooted.

Everyone in charge is aware that the illegal construction is going on, but no one is doing anything about it - because of the "sensitive nature" of stopping it (presumably the Arabs will riot). So instead they pass the buck.

  1. No one wants to offend the Arabs.

But allowing an Israeli Prime Minister's grave to be disrespected, well Jews can swallow a humiliation.

    Oy vey!

  2. This is outrageous! They act as if Har HaBayit de facto belongs to the arabs!! We don't have a govt. How can we protest this?

  3. But settlers can illegally build anywhere. Hypocrite.

  4. That's exactly the point, anon. The gov - essentially meaning ehud Barak- will do anything in its power to drag Jews out of their homes and demolish settlements that essentially pose an obstacle to the peace process only in as much as we accept de facto that Palestine will be an apartheid, judenrein state. But when Arabs build illegally - On a prime ministers grave for God's sake, and a mosque, not even a home - then suddenly no one wants to touch it because people are afraid of the Arabs threats of violence whenever they don't get exactly what they want. It's not hypocrisy - it's cowardice on our part, that we allow ourselves to be bullied by these thugs.

  5. Well there are a couple of things that can be done....get some bulldozers and take it out...or follow in the footsteps of Greg Gutfield and on the other side...open a gay bar next door to the Mosque - this is what he was going to do if the 9/11 mosque was going to get built in the NYC. Fight fire with fire.
