Over 100 rockets hit Southern Israel in the latest wave of Palestinian aggression, and "stray" shells have been landing up North in the Golan Heights in the ongoing violence between Syria's army and rebel forces. One simply has to listen to "radio darom" on the internet to hear all the "Tzeva Adom" (Color Red) incoming missile alarms to understand how crazy our situation is.
Israel needs to take decisive action. If one believes Thomas Friedman from the NY Times, now is the perfect time for Israel to start providing for the safety and security of it's residents, because President Obama is too busy to take revenge on Israel:
Israel needs to target Gazan Hamas buildings, infrastructure and their "police" stations.
Israel needs to immediately stop providing free electricity to Gaza.
Israel needs to immediately close the border crossings to Gaza.
Israel needs to forcefully retaliate for every rocket attack on Israel, regardless of whether Israeli lives are lost, people are injured, or damage was caused. Every rocket attack on Israel has to be viewed as if the rocket hit a kindergarten -- after all, that is what the Palestinians are hoping for.
"Peace" is not possible with Gaza.
We are at war with Gaza -- and the sooner they get the message that they are responsible for their actions, the better.

"You should be so lucky that the president feels he has the time, energy and political capital to spend wrestling with Bibi to forge a peace between Israelis and Palestinians," he wrote. "I don’t see it anytime soon." (NYTimes via YNET)Israel needs to hold the democratically elected government of the Gazan Palestinians accountable for their terror attacks against Israeli civilians.
