It's not like we'll be using it that often!

RutiM: We found some great vacation spots for kids...for all ages! (Like Mei Kedem...the water tunnel aqueduct that goes to Cesaria.)

TrilCat: So I guess I did the right thing by forgetting it at home ;-)Jameel @ The Muqatahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15890095633246557332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13539920.post-47682338340393336542008-09-02T21:59:00.000+03:002008-09-02T21:59:00.000+03:00Where did you set up camp?Where did you set up camp?Bailahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14115498582378133552noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13539920.post-54346990748507764522008-09-02T21:18:00.000+03:002008-09-02T21:18:00.000+03:00That Guy I Married and I are planning on doing som...That Guy I Married and I are planning on doing some camping out over Sukkot, for the first time ever.... I'm not so sure about the sand part. Think I'll contact RivkA for some advice. Better yet, we'll take her with us! Then she'll get to go camping, and she can help us put up the tent.A Living Nadneydahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14365370597831368062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13539920.post-42575201351972755722008-09-02T20:30:00.000+03:002008-09-02T20:30:00.000+03:00The women of Tanach were brought to life for me ye...The women of Tanach were brought to life for me years ago by a brilliant teacher, whose digressions were the real meat of her lectures. I remember being able to relate to Sara Imeinu when our teacher spent several minutes talking about what it must have been like to have exchanged the life of a princess for the holy job of being Avraham's wife, moving around in the desert, tent and clothes and bedding filled with sand...

Great idea, this "kid-friendly vacation section." Go for it! In Israel, there are such great hands-on ways to teach our kids the Torah.

triLcat: Oy! You have to get either a water-protection kit or keep it in a plastic bag, even while you're taking photos.Leah Goodmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16546935038863589318noreply@blogger.com
