As an Oleh from the States, one of my biggest problems with the public education system in my home state of NJ is that we didn't learn the Constitution at all.

Personally I believe if Constitution and Economics were a staple in the American public school curriculum, the US would be a much wealthier, healthier and stable place right now.

Thought about getting involved to make the change from the ground up, but then Israel called. The first approach is called the "separation" or "no aid" interpretation, while the second approach is called the "non-preferential" or "accommodation" interpretation. The accommodation interpretation prohibits Congress from preferring one religion over another, but does not prohibit the government's entry into religious domain to make accommodations in order to achieve the purposes of the Free Exercise Clause.

Its easier to simply say "Freedom of Religion" (getting her to memorize everything was tough enough :)Jameel @ The Muqatahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15890095633246557332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13539920.post-54832397920028901652012-02-07T13:19:39.868+02:002012-02-07T13:19:39.868+02:00No ex-pommies, Canadians or South Africans in the ...No ex-pommies, Canadians or South Africans in the class?joshnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13539920.post-3048555801791730712012-02-07T13:16:10.254+02:002012-02-07T13:16:10.254+02:00There's a sixth clause in the First Amendment....There's a sixth clause in the First Amendment.
