Years ago, confused by the decision making process at Shas (supporting governments willing to expel Jews from Gaza, for example), I said to a friend naively..."but this doesn't make sense" and their answer was - "of course it doesn't make cents [sense] - all they care about is dollars." In the years that have followed, I have seen this to be the sad truth. Shas will be bought by whatever part can afford them. A vote for Shas simply means you are willing to go to the highest bidder...they have another name for this in sections of New York (and probably Tel Aviv), but I'll leave that to your imagination.A Soldier's Motherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11370218893899121159noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13539920.post-18605475736420564402008-11-22T19:00:00.000+02:002008-11-22T19:00:00.000+02:00Gila: Every vote is a vote for Shas -- they will b...Gila: Every vote is a vote for Shas -- they will be in the next government, receiving millions, regardless of who the PM is.Jameel @ The Muqatahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15890095633246557332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13539920.post-78861802514160619822008-11-22T08:43:00.000+02:002008-11-22T08:43:00.000+02:00Maybe they can...but I really hope they don't.
