This is despite the huge number of requests being put forward for money to ontain such luxuries as eyeglasses, medicines, dentures, hearing aids, etc.Gee a Moronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00049652650047347640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13539920.post-74574031653453140882007-12-30T21:36:00.000+02:002007-12-30T21:36:00.000+02:00I'd like to say that here in the US they're more e...I'd like to say that here in the US they're more enlightened but even I can't keep a straight face about that one.Jack Steinerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16625864271071630940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13539920.post-55979241644036114952007-12-30T14:07:00.000+02:002007-12-30T14:07:00.000+02:00Well, one thing the members of our government can ...Well, one thing the members of our government can always agree on and that always crosses political divides is a pay raise. Just last year Mks received a 2.5 percent pay increase. Should be expected when there is zero accountability or real representation in our government. sigh.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13539920.post-54244031762124231272007-12-30T10:28:00.000+02:002007-12-30T10:28:00.000+02:00I probably should add, the people above don't have...I probably should add, the people above don't have to pay for gas for their car (nor their car to for that matter), they don't pay for their phone bills, they don't have to pay for "expenses" related to their job - which includes for some regular hotel stays in Jerusalem.

I also somehow doubt they pay for their meals in the cafeteria too, but if they do pay, they are definitely subsidized meals.

Like Mel Brooks likes to say, "It's good to be the King".JoeSettlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01232647820807408898noreply@blogger.com
