What's with the crazy weather?

I don't know how its been in the rest of the country, but in Judea (and Jerusalem) the weather has been outright weird the past few days.

There are dark storm clouds in the morning, but no rain.

It's windy, but feels like there's no air half the time.

And it's windy cold, except when it gets stifling hot, only to alternate again.

It's the middle of June and I'm going out with a fleece jacket in the morning, but taking it off every now and then so I don't overheat when it suddenly gets hot.

The el niño and la niña events in the Pacific Ocean are having tremendous effects on the weather world-wide. You might find the following URL interesting:

I heard somewhere that we're had rain here in New York City every week but one since March (or was it February?). Last week, the temperature went into the 80s (Fahrenheit) so quickly that we didn't even have time to clean the air-conditioner filters before we had to use the AC--and fell back into the 60s days later. And we're the lucky ones.

we had rain today in modi'in - go figure; looks like my watch is about 3 months fast, I make it half past June.

Funny.... I blow in cold air in my apartment and I have to wear a fleece jacket in the summer.

No one can predict Mother Nature!

JPost noticed it too!

They say the ash cloud has reached Eilat, whether it's related or not, it wasn't clear to me from the article.

The explanation is obvious to me...

At the beginning of the week I hired a viper to vipe all my vindows.

The windows haven't been washed since last year and are pretty opaque. Of course it will rain mud and sand after they are cleaned...
