Start Fresh

The advertiser I going to tell you about is StartFresh.

StartFresh is an online Kosher diet plan. You sign up with them, tell them your current weight, your desired weight, and they present you with 3 daily meal plans (full meals with recipes plus midday snacks) for you to eat your way to a healthier you (I know I heard that phrase somewhere, must be some commercial).

Batya, over at me-ander is actually trying the StartFresh diet and keeping a daily journal with pictures of her meals. You can go to her blog and check it out!

Anyhoo, I don't really need it myself, but I took a look at the "Sneak Peeks" on their site and I liked the recipe for Oriental Chicken and Vegetable Stir Fry, it came out quite good.

This clearly isn't some boring food diet, but one where you eat tasty stuff, but in the right portions and with the right balance.

The site has a recipe library for members as well as holiday (Shabbat, Chanukah, etc.) related recipes.

So with Chanukah coming up (with all those jelly doughnuts and latkas), you want to look good in front of that shiny Menorah. Check out StartFresh.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Go to the StartFresh website and send them your email address. They will send you (free) the recipe for their Baked Sufganiot (Jelly Doughnuts).

Wherever I am, my blog turns towards Eretz Yisrael טובה הארץ מאד מאד

Jameel, thanks for the mention.

So far I'm not allowed waffles, but they have a recipe for baked donuts instead of deep fried sufganiyot. And you can choose your own menu if you want, as long as you eat according to the limitations and requirements.

It's Lea, the Program Admin at Start Fresh. The baked sufganiot are getting rave reviews. Just drop in your email address to have it delivered to your inbox. We'll be resending the newsletter to all new subscribers in a couple of days.
