Wedding Photo from Israel (beyond the mechitza)
Friend of mine snapped this photo for me from a recent religious wedding in Israel -- it was taken from the women's side of the mechitza during the dancing. (At religious weddings, men and women dance separately)

Well even if the young woman's outfit is not regulation all black, her accessory machine gun is. Does that make her half chareidi? Just curious--what's the etiquette for where you put the gun when you sit down at the table?
ProfK: I always put mine under the table...(at a simcha). When visiting friends for shabbat meals -- usually high up on a bookcase with the magazine removed.
In shul -- well, I'll have to take another picture of that on an erev shabbat (which means showing up on time for mincha :)
My son-in-law carries a pistol - much easier for shul and for wedding etiquette: he just keeps it holstered on his hip at all times. :-)
Annie: the specific question was about rifle etiquette -- OBVIOUSLY one's semi-automatic pistol should be loaded and holstered all the time :-)
