Mazal Tov! 3 Baby lions born in Ramat Gan Safari Zoo

The Safari Zoo in Ramat-Gan proudly announced the birth of 3 lioness cubs (triplets) -- after 5 years in which only male lion cubs were born.

IDF Radio / Galezi Tzahal reports the mother is named "Sironi" but the zoo isn't sure of the father. Regardless - Mazal Tov to the zoo's new addition! If you know what type of Lion this is -- I'd appreciate if you would drop a note in the comment section...

I saw this too and wanted to feature it, but here we have it. Aren't they the cutest, even in their hissing!

What type of lion? Cute, of course!

Maybe "Lions of Zion"?

I think that they are probably African lions as they do not look as fluffy as Asian lion babies. Asian lions have more fur to live in colder regions. All lion babies are born with spots and markings so that they can blend into the grass better and stay safe from predators. The spots will fade as they grow their adult coats. I hope that helped! They are really cute! ^^
