Wherever I may be, my blog turns toward Eretz Yisrael

He was for it, before he was against it.
Minister Meir Shitreet is channeling John Kerry today. It seems he was for the State Commision of Inquiry before he was against it. I wonder if he has a magic hat too.
Wherever I am, my blog turns towards Eretz Yisrael
You know, this post just shows how important it is to be the candidate/group that controls the vocabulary of any issue or election. Two YEARS after JK lost the election and people still think "John Kerry" when they hear of a politician who has changed his stance on an issue. And not just in the United States, but half way around the world people are still making that connection. Same thing with terminology like "pro-choice" and "occupied territories" and "progressive" and even "Palestinians."
I'm a little disapointed to see you parroting Republican slandars. They took a Kerry quote out of context, and hung the stripped of meaning quote around his neck. It was the political equivlent of a first grader laughing at his teacher for saying "I always try to do my duty."
Smart people saw right through it. Republicans didn't.
Humor and Irony bounce off your skull like tiddlywinks. I'm sure you think George Bush has an IQ of 57 as well.
No one denies the fact that Kerry said that he voted for it before he voted against it. So it was one sentence plucked from a speech to humorous effect. That's politics. It's become part of the pop culture. I'm making use of it in a light-hearted, ironic fashion. Or don't they teach that where you come from?

You, Sir, are a loser.
