Sounds like a joke to me.
It must be a joke or some sort of spam. There is no way that someone could be dumb enough to admit in writing that they are stealing copyrighted images and then threaten a lawsuit against the owner of said images because the owner of the copyright has used his discretion as copyright owner to move the location of his own images.
Although, stupidity has no bounds, so maybe it's a legit email.
I vote for it being spam. Don't you have any lawyer friends who would call the person and threaten to counter-sue, just to see what happens?
Its definitely spam.
And they of course just happen to know your name and all other pertinent information.
And I'm a refugee from Liberia with a million dollars to wire you...
