Moonbat Lunatics boycott the wrong boat.

Just when the Oakland area flotilla-supporting-lunatics thought they were going to "get even with Israel", victory has been snatched from their grasp.
Hundreds of protestors yesterday prevent a Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. ship of being unload at the Port of Oakland in California. The protestors came in two groups, blocking two shifts of longshoremen, who agreed not to cross the picket line, leaving nobody to unload the vessel.

Police and demonstrators estimated that a crowd of 500 people blocked the entrance to Pier 4 where the Zim ship was anchored. Oakland Police said that no arrests were made.

Our objective was to boycott this ship for 24 hours, and we succeeded in doing that," said Richard Becker, with the ANSWER Coalition, one of the groups that organized the protest. (GLOBES)
However, seems like they got the wrong boat, since the Israeli ZIM boat showed up 12 hours late (in typical Israeli fashion) and the anti-Israel demonstrators prevented a Chinese boat from unloading its cargo for 24 hours! (source)

Of course, the Chinese do all sorts of nasty stuff to people, but I don't think the ANSWER Coalition could care less about Chinese Human Rights abuses, when they have the opportunity to bash Israel over flotilla terrorists.

Yup. In the global economy, Zim no longer uses highly paid Israeli merchant seamen. Its outsourced much of its business like most other companies, to cut costs and improve its bottom line. Those who hate Israel think nothing has changed since the 1960s with Israeli merchant shipping.

Yeah, sure.

More importantly, why wouldn't the longshoremen (perhaps in the loony bay area, longshore-persons?) "cross the picket line" ? That is the troubling part.

According to Moshe it was only 150 people. One of whom was Dick Becker, notorious anti-Israel agitator, from International ANSWER - the people who hijacked the anti-war movement and turned it into a front group for the revolutionary parties. And, remarkably, the same people who approved, cheeringly and wholeheartedly, of Mao's "Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution" and Polpot's genocide of his own people - because, after all, it was ideologically correct, and only yellow people where killed.

[Sarcasm alert!]
See, if it had been whitey whacking the Chinese intelligentsia or the Cambodian city folks, then it would have been bad. Colored folks killing each other is a natural expression of our proud independent culture, or evidence of our spirit and artistic natures. It would the height of whitey arrogance to criticize such things. Apparently.
[End sarcasm alert.]

The sarcasm alert was necessary for the pro-Palestinian "intellectuals" reading the comments. The poor dears are serious, and don't often get these things. They might respond with 'intellectual rigor', and 'thoughts', if not warned!

People wonder what "ANSWER" is.
It is a Marxist sect with anti-Semitic overtones! The initials stand for "Anti-Semitic, Neo-Stalinist Sectarians Waging Eradication of Reason!" These moonbats are, as the blog indicates, as incompetent as they are stupid!

@Shmilda..this history of the ILWU tells you who and what they are.

Harry Bridges (July 28, 1901–March 30, 1990) was an influential Australian-American union leader, in the International Long shore and Warehouse Union (ILWU), a long shore (dock) and warehouse workers’ union on the West Coast, Hawaii and Alaska which he helped form and led for over 40 years. He was prosecuted by the US government during the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s, and was convicted by a federal jury of having lied about his Communist Party membership, a conviction which was set aside.
