How does that translate?
The Land (of Israel) is very very good?
Is it a Pasuk?
Numbers 14: 6-7, JPS translation:
"And Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, of those who had scouted the land, rent their clothes and exhorted the whole Israelite community: 'the land that we traversed and scouted is an exceedingly good land.'"
I think your translation is more accurate though.
Yochanan: Its part of the Muqata byline, quoting from Yehoshua and Calev.
They were the only 2 of the spies who defended the land of Israel. Your translation is correct.

It's my absolutely favorite Pasuk--and how I knew I would enjoy your blog from the first day I found it.

I can think of a few left-wing blogs whose byline ought to be "הארץ ארץ אכלת יושביה היא" (Bamidbar 13:32).
Or maybe "ונהי בעינינו כחגבים" (ibid. 33).
This hold this defeatist position even in spite of the fact that Yehoshua's and Calev's slogan was, "Yes, We Can" (ibid. 30).
Does anyone know what Yeshiva this is?
