Insane Islamic Hatred

About 10 years ago, an Israeli woman, Tatiana Suskind drew up a crude flyer of a pig wearing a keffiya and put it up on a wall in Hevron. She was sentenced to 2 years in jail for incitement.

Yet, you've got to wonder why the Danish Cartoon vs. Islam story has gone ballistic.

Check out these pictures from an Islamic rally in London...they left me speechless.

Wherever I am, my blog turns towards Eretz Yisrael

Ah, Yes. The Religion of Peace. Makes me long back to those warm summer nights, small amounts of gun fire adding to the enchanting night. The hostages all tied up like a trussed Thanksgiving turkey. Large machete (or other large sharp object, but not to sharp, we want them to suffer.) in my hand as I prepare to ... Ooops, I think I have said to much.

Wow- those are scary pictures. "The Real Holocaust"? You're right- this is insane...

: ( I admit, I've been spoiled by living in the United States and being able to say and write anything I want. That could be a problem if and when I come to Israel...

Wouldn't want to incite this kind of insanity, now, would I.

They're not just hypersensitive; they are projecting.

Let's face it; Radical Islam is just that, radical. It is full of people who are absolutely insane and filled with hate.

And radical Islam is a pretty big part of Islam....

i find it funny that these people are protesting the european media and its right to freely voice its opinions (however inflammatory they may be) while using the same freedom to broadcst their own hatred. double standards, anyone?

hmmm...i've been waiting for it to come to this.
a wise man once said to me "you cannot rationalize the irrational."

Q:what do the holocaust, the jews, and israel have to do with a cartoon about muhammed printed in a danish newspaper back in september have to do with each other?
A: to get to the other side.

yes. exactly what you're thinking.

you think europe's getting a little nervous?

Why was Tatiana really jailed?

Because the Israeli government is actually terrified of the Arabs.

The world has become to worried about being PC and how bad racial profiling is to pick up their fingers. Europe is quick to use a water cannon of football hooligans but too scared to arrest those inciting death to the world.

On a seperate note, have I missed Manilla part 2, I've been a bit lapse about the blogsphere this week.

Radical Islam is scary... Its nuts, and its NOT NORMAL, as is radical Judiasm, or radical Christianity... Radicalism is crazy. There are other countries that are 99%+ muslim such as Turkey but you do not see this kind of thing happening there, so it seems to me its not exactly a muslim problem it is a radical islam problem and that is what needs to be bit in the bud. I haven't a problem with anyone practising their religion, or freedom of speech for that matter, and my take on the Muhammed cartoon is that, ok, its disrespectful, but these crazy protests are unnecassary and down right taken to the extreme where it is just becoming ridiculous... Its sad...

Hmmm... nice posters. These guys aren't exactly doing an effective job of promoting Islam as a responsible, mainstream religion, are they?

"We want to behead you because you depicted our religion as promoting violence!"

Great logic there. (g)

Dear Palestinian Princess,

Radical Judaism is when a bunch of guys stay in the study hall day and night, don't chase after women and shun the Internet in favor of studying 1600-year old texts. Radical Islam is when a bunch of guys slit the throats of hapless Europeans who came to help them clean their sewer system. Do you really see them as equal in any way?

Can you really equate the most outrageous behavior of the religious right in Israel, the most brutal assault on any vendor in the Hebron Suk with the daily bombing, mutilation, slitting and all other manner of murder inflicted by your AVERAGE radical Muslim in Iraq and Israel?

Sorry, the comparison does not compute at all. Settlers who misbehave are a rarity, Muslims who murder for fun and profit are the rule.

In my opinion, and that of countless scholars in the West, the Muslim magical thinking – Allah said so, and it must therefore happen the way I understand it should – reflects a depressingly immature Muslim psyche. We may have been spared all this noise and mayhem had we not enriched the worst among them to the point where Allah comes to them for loans. We have on our hands rich children, hell bent on getting their way, and I fear the only answer the West will be able to come up with would be a sound spanking.

I would pay attention, if I were you, to what the Danish premier said yesterday, calling Islamic radicalism a global problem. You think Muslims can inflict pain? Wait until you've seen a bunch of pissed off Europeans decide to unleash their resources of cruelty. Ask the American Indians, and then, if there's time, ask the Jews.

They're crazy! I am going to have nightmares from these pictures. Why are they making such a big deal anyway? They have no sense of humor!

Rebecca said...

ps- how do I see this cartoon?

Jameel @ The Muqata said...

Rebecca: Which cartoon - the one of Mohammad from Europe this past week, or the one that Tatiana drew 10 years ago that got her thrown in jail for 2 years?

exsemgirl said...

The most shocking part is that the police protected rather than arrested these people.
It beggars belief...

R.x said...

So the news of these protests has reached you - yes, it's been a bizarre week in London. The police were terrified of making an arrest for fear of aggravating the situation - tho they did arrest a chap who was giving out pro-freedom of speech flyers. Go figure!
However, after the event public opinion and news media was so outraged that they had to react. So the chap who'd dressed up as a suicide bomber was promptly sent back to jail for breaking his parole conditions.
But, here in London we try to see the funny side. My favourite was a Muslim protester, using his democratic right to protest and demonstrate outside the Danish embassy, holding a placard that said "FREEDOM OF SPEECH - GO TO HELL!"

RR said...

Those protesters just didn't get enough love when they were kids.

Seriously, that is some scary stuff. Those pictures are absolutely chilling. And you know, I don't think all of them are so insulted by those cartoons- they just want an excuse to vent their anti-Western hatred. How lucky for them that the cops are too chicken to do anything about it.

Thought you might be interested; there are more pictures available at Xvi's blog. Some are even scarier than the ones you have (although some are repeats.)

either way, but I just saw a bunch. Actually my husband sent me an email with controversial cartoons and then some cartoons that were in arab newspapers. It's an attachment so I don't know how to show you. If you are interested let me know...

you know im just an old sergent that has been in the military for sometime now(not going to say which one)but i see theses radical protesters like this. lets say that you have this great yard dog and it is nice to you when your nice to it and then all of a sudden it roars up at you and tears your arm to shreads what are you going to do to it?? most people are not going to just forget it and let it go most people are going to blow its head off..so when i see them getting violent towards me i am not going to stop and think about what thay have done and a have a 50 min debate with them no i am going to put a 5.56mm round right threw there forhead and then go to the next one..now if it is peaceful then i have no problem with protesters hell i might even listen to what they have to say just for shits grins and giggles...but the way theses people have been acting..there is no way im going to try to even reason with them because i would be wasting my breath. they at that point only understand one thing and that is what my ammo has to say...but that is only my opinion though

I never really got the point of any form of racism. The bottom line is, we're all humans. Anyone who would take hatred based on something as benign as skin color should get some counselling in nottingham.
