Yeah, I heard about this story. It's great stuff! Those British. They're a funny bunch, eh?

best piece of British jouralism I have seen in years.
Actually, I thought the guy did pretty well, under the circumstances. Unbelievable. Check that. Believable.
Yep, agreed.
And very funny. I never did like skynews.
Jameel,
Thanks. I haven't laughed that hard while sober in a long time.
Reminds me of the old maaseh in which the rav's balagola asks the rav to switch places with him when they get to the next town so that for a change he could bask in glory. They switch and then some fellow comes to the balagola (posing as the rav) and asks him a difficult question. Stumped, he points to the fellow in the driver's seat and says (drum roll): that's such a simple question even my balagola can answer it!
An oldie but it never fit better.
That. Was. Hilarious.
Actually, I thought the cabbie did remarkably well (aside from the initial look of sheer terror)
I saw this last night- that look he had at the beginning WAS hysterical! Can't believe he just tried to bluff his way through!
I'm glad the BBC got some egg on its face. Just a small bit of payback for the raw deal they've given us all these years. I hope this gets replayed endlessly in the media and they feel like total fools!
Hilarious.
Bravo to the Cabbie. He handled the situation with dignity.
All been watching it at work here!
Hysterical!=D
Priceless! Absolutely priceless. Nothing like the BBC to reaffirm my belief in British media...I just loved the look on that poor cabbie's face. Poor guy did a good job when faced with bumbling incompitence.
