Hot on the heels of the story below, the IDF is desperately looked to find suitable replacements for the IDF elite duchifat commandos who refused to have anything to do with the eviction of Jews from their homes in Hevron.
So who did the geniuses find?
The Nachal Chareidi!
Surprisingly (not), the IDF soldiers from the Netzach Yehuda (Nachal Chareidi) combat infantry units also refused (story here in Hebrew).
doh.
Who are the lunatics running the IDF and Defense Ministry today?
Doesn't anyone there have a brain?
Update: While Defense Minister Ehud Barak prepares for a violent eviction of Jews in Hevron, Ehud Omert's friends in Gaza are sending over Katyusha rockets at kindergartens in Sederot.

Just like how antisemites and Jewish kapo libs boycott Yesha products , American Jewish Jews should start boycotting anti yesha Israeli products.
Does a list exist?
peace now had some statement condemning the soldiers for refusing to follow orders. how many times did peace now and other leftists criticize soldiers who refused to serve in yesha?
i'm just waiting for this to become an excuse for leftists to attack datiyyim, hesder, etc.
"So who did the geniuses find? The Nachal Chareidi!"
maybe this was done on purpose by someone trying to make a point?
When I heard that soliders were refusing to get on buses, I started saying tehillim. I said verses from psalm 119 to spell Chevron. Worth reading, especially verses 61, 9, 153-156, 157, 158, 42, 46, 109, 110
Before I made aliyah, we were taught in all our classes about Israel and Zionism that what makes the IDF a "moral" army is that soldiers have the right to question orders that seem immoral. We were told this was a basic tenet of the IDF.
Wouldn't it be more effective to refuse at the last minute? Now they give the army a days note to replace them... I'm sure the army can find other soldiers to replace them... It would be much better if they go and even volunteer to go and davka try to be in the innermost ring, and then refuse at the last minute... The way they're doing it now seems rather silly. Does anyone know why they do it this way?
duvid, rather than characterizing their way of refusing as "silly", I'd simply say "Todah LaE^l!" that they've developed the intestinal fortitude to refuse.
