It is Jack and I am pleased to bring you a special report.
Every year it seems that Jameel disappears and we go through a series of posts that discuss where he is or what has been doing.
Well this year I am pleased to be able to provide the definitive report on where Jameel has been and what he has been doing. Unfortunately due to a rough experience with the LOAG extra security efforts had to be undertaken. But now we can reveal bits and pieces.
During the past several weeks Jameel has been on location filming his very own reality television show. In addition he also been busy working on a special film that is going straight to DVD, Muqata Waffle Madness in which our very own waffle master will teach you how to make waffles like a pro.
Rumor has it that in addition to the cooking class there is also going to be a Workout With Jameel Video. That should go nicely with the Muqata Waffles At Your Workstation Keyboard.

I hope you all get REALLY FAT from your damned waffles!
NYA! HA! HA! HA!
Don't lie. It's not loag; it's 10ag.
Why doesn't the Waffle Bar on Derech Beit Lechem have a real teudah? The "mehadrin" one they have is known not to be reliable and you need to be concerned about a restaurant in Jerusalem that doesn't have some sort of a teudah from Rabbinut Yerushalayim.
Dear Anonymous,
Jameel Rashid is a Muslim, and thus is not bound to the laws of Kashruth.
Didn't you know that?
LOAG LOAG LOAG -- The demon assassins!
Oh, so you've decided to rear your ugly head?
Did I hit a nerve, perhaps?
I knew Ben-Yehudah would jump in on this. Better read the ingredients closely, Jameel may be tricking you! ;-)

Can someone comment on the Teudah at the waffle place? There's a mehadrin one and not a Rabbanut one?
Jameel, where did you get that waffle maker?
It looks like dimpled pancakes. I would buy the same thing if I could find it. I like small indents rather than the giant indents on most waffles. I like dainty waffles. Can you tell us where you bought it?
Cool pan, can you actually get waffle pans here in Israel? ANyone know where?
Williams-Sonoma handles this kind of stuff.
Thank you Jack, found the waffler @ $40 pancakes.
When I was a kid, we had a waffle iron that was an attatchment to a large toaster iron. It made 4 waffles at a shot and had the advantage of being an electric device--none of the problem of uneven heat distribution on a gas range.
The electrical incompatibility problem is serious--and don't try to tell me otherwise because I was nearly killed by a CrockPot on a transformer.
The other problem is convincing a visiting relative to bring something as heavy and menacing-looking as that through security. I bet your luggage weight limit is about half gone right there.
