John Kerry's Broken Moral Compass
US Secretary of State John Kerry has managed to disappoint friends of Israel rather quickly since his appointment by President Obama.
Deputy Defense Minister Danny Danon (Likud) on Monday berated Kerry:

US Secretary of State John Kerry compared the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing to the nine Turkish activists killed by the IDF as they tried to break Gaza’s naval blockade, at a press conference in Istanbul on Sunday.
“I know it’s an emotional issue with some people,” Kerry said of the Mavi Marmara deaths. “I particularly say to the families of people who were lost in the incident: We understand these tragedies completely and we sympathize with them.”
He then added, “And nobody – I mean, I have just been through the week of Boston and I have deep feelings for what happens when you have violence and something happens and you lose people that are near and dear to you. It affects a community, it affects a country,” Kerry said. “We’re very sensitive to that.” (JPOST)
Deputy Defense Minister Danny Danon (Likud) on Monday berated Kerry:
“It is never helpful when a moral equivalency is made confusing terrorists with their victims. As our American friends were made all too aware once again last week, the only way to deal with the evils of terrorism is to wage an unrelenting war against its perpetrators, wherever they may be,” (TOI)Maybe we got it all wrong -- and THIS is what Kerry meant:

Remember the Peaceful Mavi Marmara?
Remember the Mavi Marmara? That "peaceful", "unarmed" flotilla ship of peace activists on its way to Gaza.
Well, Yediot (Hebrew) has released photos of armedmen peace activists openly walking around the ship with automatic weapons (the same ship Arab MK Zuabi was on, all the while claiming she saw no weapons).

As for the IDF, these pictures aren't from them. They have their own set of photos which they haven't released yet - for reasons that are beyond me. I'd like to say, better late than never, but that doesn't even apply yet.

Movie Review: New Turkish Blockbuster Libels Israel
In one of the highest budget films ever made in Turkey (over 10 millions dollars), "Valley of the Wolves: Palestine," inspired by the May 31 Mavi Marmara Terror-flotilla ship, will hit theaters in November in about 100 countries around the world.
The childish plot depicts a "Delta-Squad" of elite Turkish commandos arriving in Israel to "take revenge" for the deaths of the Flotilla terrorists, killed by IDF soldiers. Their "target" is an eye-patched Israeli officer, Moshe Ben Eliezer, who "planned and managed the raid" of the Mavi Marmara. Of course, many people planned it, but why let facts get in the way of a pathetic Turkish film?
Further departing from reality, the movie shows scenes from aboard the Marmara, with IDF naval commandos firing automatic live gunfire at the helpless peace activists.
The film is one big libel scene from start to finish, and is typical of new winds of Jihad and anti-Zionism blowing through Turkey.
With friends like Turkey, who needs Hamas?
This film rates zero cups of Turkish Coffee, on the Muqata Film Scale.

Treason in the Knesset
Mavi Marmara passenger, Member of Knesset Hanin Zuabi claimed: 'There was not a single passenger who raised a baton'

The freshman MK denied all claims that it was the international passengers on the ship that initiated the violent clashes with IDF naval commandos. “There was not a single passenger who raised a baton,” Zuabi claimed. “From where I stood, in any case I did not see any such thing. There was shooting, but I don’t know if it was with live bullets or not. There was shooting from the boats in our direction. The message was clear for us – that we should understand that our lives were in danger. We passed along messages that we did not want confrontation. What we saw was five bodies. There were only civilians and there were no weapons. I had the feeling that I might not get off the boat alive.” (JPost)Lies Exposed: And now for the video...where we see baton wielding terrorists and Zuabi walking among then. Later, she "negotiates" with the IDF soldiers, where she insists the wounded not be taken to Israeli hospitals (I assume she wanted more casualties to make Israel look even worse)
