Sick of Local Elections

I'm sick of our local municipal elections and wish they were over already.

Elections seem to bring out the worst in people; the daily emails I get from the respective candidates are enough to churn one's stomach: He's a liar, he's a criminal, he's doesn't care about this neighborhood, he hates religious Jews, he's not a leader, he hasn't done anything in the past 5, 10, 15, 20 years. Documents, pictures, youtube videos, police repots, traffic reports.

I'm seriously sick of it all.

Will our community ever get back together again, or is this election the final push for Humpty Dumpty?  If our community can't even conduct an election with a modicum of self-respect, then its no surprise that the Knesset is a joke.

rant over.

Tell us about it. And you're not even RUNNING!

You wouldn't believe what DH has been accused of. ;)

I hear that things are more civilized in the Likud Central Committee...

as the DH who is running for election and a member of the Merkaz as well, I would like to say that both are a lot of fun.

Thank G-D I'm not running!

Smartest thing I ever did was refuse to run for mayor.

Though I did run for the Likud Merkaz, which was rather annoying :-(
