She may throw like a girl, but she can bomb the hell out of Gaza

I caught some flack 2 weeks back in my handshake post about women, their handshakes, and "throwing like a girl."

And I didn't even write about parallel parking...

However! I will mention that I will try to stay out of sight of Israeli Airforce Captain Roni. As an F-16C pilot in the IAF, she took part in this past Friday night's 2AM attack on a tunnel near Gaza's Karni crossing.

YNETnews reports that Roni is the IAF's first female fighter pilot -- she completed her flight course in 2001. Since the IAF flight course became coeducational, more than a decade ago, only 13 women have managed to graduate, with Roni the only one thus far to qualify as a fighter pilot.

She didn't miss her target either...but I still don't know how well she throws or parallel parks.

(Will you all please stop throwing cups of coffee at me?)

Wherever I am, my blog turns towards Eretz Yisrael

Yeah, but how much can she bench press? :)

I have no problem admitting that I throw like a girl. :)

Well done captain Roni!

(I'd rather throw like a girl than think like a man)

That's what YOU think!

What is it with guys assuming we have a problem throwing like a girl? Are you projecting your competitive nature onto us? Yes, I throw like a girl, lol, and I dont even think about it twice.

The driving argument is a fight you just can't win. 82% of automobile accidents and insurance claims in Israel involved male driver negligence in 2005.

If you keep on trying to rile your female readers with posts like this, you might find yourself without a target audience...

Tafka PP: Well - I hope no one was taking me too seriously....

Funny- I failed the parallel parking part of my American driver's test, and never once parallel parked until I moved to Israel. Here, of course, you've got to do it all the time- and I've become an expert!
