Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

So Barack Obama, Rahm Emmanual and some other Jews in the Obama regime have said the US (read: the Obama Regime) “screwed up” regarding Israel. What they claim to have screwed up is not their intentions, but the message - the way their intentions were delivered (and understood properly).

Except in terms of their marketing, I don’t believe they screwed up at all. They were very clear about their intentions and goals. Their “screw up” is that they were honest about it, instead of crouching it in deception and lies to make it more palatable. They made their beliefs very, very clear – unquestionably so.

One merely need to go back to Obama’s first interview with the Jerusalem Post before he was elected.

David Horovitz asked Obama a very straight forward question: “Do you think Israel has a right to try and maintain a presence in the West Bank - for security, religious, historic or other reasons?

While Obama completely avoided directly answering the question, his bottom line was that the Israel has no right to be there, while the Palestinians are justified in attacking Israel, and the Palestinians simply need to decide whether that was in their best interest to do so.

This is what Obama believes. He expressed his absolute truth at the height of his naïveté regarding what he should and shouldn’t say.

But now the Democrats are getting hit hard by their Jewish supporters, donors and party members, both in the voting booths, and in their wallets. Not Republicans, not Israelis, not Jews in general, but their own supporters believe that Obama has simply gone too far.

With elections half a year away and polls and campaign coffers dropping rapidly, they’ve entered a state of panic, and have told Obama that he must fix his mistake.

But except to those who want to be confused (or aren’t even sure why Obama is actually apologizing) that’s not what Obama and friends have done.

They haven’t said they made a mistake. They simply said they made a mistake in how they revealed their beliefs.

It’s like trying to get the Palestinians to accept a Jewish state. It won’t happen (except to identify what they want to destroy).

The Obama administration is the same.

If Obama was again asked after this apology, “Do you think Israel has a right to try and maintain a presence in the West Bank - for security, religious, historic or other reasons?”, Obama’s answer would not fundamentally change, his wording might, but his underlying message won’t.

Because Obama, being on the very far Left simply does not believe that, and I don’t believe he would really say it.

And to be honest, even if he said it, after 14 months of him and his regime members consistently saying and doing the exact opposite, and with the external pressure of losing elections just ahead, I think one would have to be an idiot to believe him.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Off topic I know, but why is the perception of Obama split directly down the middle of the Messiah/antiChrist divide?

I don't think Obama is the anti-Christ but he is is an echo of the anti-Christ. He shows how easy it will be in a generation or so for the Anti-Christ to come to power.

We are just a few generations away from total destruction.
